Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 3, 2009 Some of you may or may not know that (a while ago) I managed to score a set of M-Pars for the E34. They resided in Auckland and after throwing out a call to some BSers I managed to rope in some assistance from afar. Big thanks to both "the storer" and "the transporter" I've just today picked up the the wheels and they are in pretty good condition so I'm happy. Might be a week or two at least before I get them on the car but we'll see. I did give them a quick demo on the work Hilux And here's another Technoviolet beast I've been parking next to the last few nights. Purple FTW!

Oh track photos to come soon

Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 21, 2009 I think the rear needs to come up a touch Haha you won't say that when you see it like this (on same size rubber as I'm going to fit)
Forrest 35 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 Pft. Impatient as haha. New wheels will look pimp, do like.
JiB 2 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 I kinda like the balloons on the rear. Look like drag slicks if you squint Noob Q: Are they the same size as the old wheels?
Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 21, 2009 More or less the same size, 18x9" for the M-Par rears vs 18x9.5" Beyerns
bravo 35 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 Are they staggered? Tyres look good at the rear, but a little balloonish at the front. I like the old wheels better. ...NOT. Looks good Si.
Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 21, 2009 I like the old wheels better. You know those Simpsons moments when Homer goes "Why you little ...." and grabs Bart by the throat? You=Bart, me=Homer NOT Yeah staggered 8 & 9, but no the current tyres are too big all round so will invest in some new ones

laadeelaa 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2009 I'm going to be a girl and say, even though the M-Par's are looking sweet, I still think the Beyerns look more staunch and better. Can't say too much cos my wheels are dumb. So i'll be a good girl and be quiet.

Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted August 9, 2009 Also, do these wheels provide acceptable angles of slip around wet roundabouts when attempting to find Ollie's house?
Guest Simon* Report post Posted October 19, 2009 Today's the day! M-Parallel day!! New rubber, new rims, weekend roady .... yeah baby!!! Am really pleased with the fit and the look They are staggered 18's - 8 and 9" wide. Beyerns will probably go up for sale soonish. Incidentally for those interested they will NOT fit E39 I'm afraid. Well the fronts will (they are E39 centre bore) but the rears are the smaller E34/E38 diameter. 18" x 8.5" ET15 and 18" x 9.5" ET15. Have hubcentric rings to go with too
