318is 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2004 boot into safe mode and virus scan. TWICE. THREE times to be sure. After that run adaware ( latest ) and spybot search and destroy ( latest ). Run Zonealarm ( pro if u can ) always and track whats coming in and out. Thats my security, and no virus or anything in 4 years. Deftones 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2004 as long as you delete that reg key that it creates then update your virus definintions, disable system restore (if you have it), then startup in safe mode and run virus check.. Its blocked so far around 900 attacks (mostly attempted trojan horse attacks) on our computer in the last month. Ah the joys of a fixed IP address. OLLIE 26 Report post Posted November 28, 2004 AVG, norton, spybot search and destroy I disabled system restore updated software and started up in safe mode tried all of these programs: spybot found a whole bunch of registry keys the others didnt pick up anything. so hopefully its gone.
