i've had a set of 2 ton team mechanic ones for 4 years now... they have been fine for me.

As long as they are the correct rating, and they are not the ones with a pin to set the height (ie they are fixed height, or ratchet ones) they should be fine.

^^just out of interest, what's wrong with the pin style ones?

Had a set for over 5 years now and haven't had any problems.

They're OK, but easy to not put the pin in properly when you're in a hurry, or you lose the pin and then substitute it for a nail or something which isn't high tensile.

They're fine, but if you're going to buy a set I'd recommend ones that don't rely on a wee pin.

Just went and gave them a ring (only just got time) $88 for a set with a 3 tonne rating and with screw top, Ment to be higher than the pin ones. So will get a set of those as they are something that will always come in handy.

Note: Cheers for the edit Ollie i was in a hurry when i posted it.
