My 1987 M3 is for Sale

Recommended Posts

I have spent over 35K just on performance upgrades etc. since I bought her.

48K is the price I am asking which I feel is very reasonable given the work that has gone into the M3.

EDIT: I forgot to post earlier that I have receipts for the work and will provide to the new owner.

In the last fortnight I have spent over $8000 to complete rust work and minor work for the W.O.F including a completely rebuilt steering rack.

Regards,

Laurence

Just out of interest who rebuilt your rack laurence?? Sorry don't mean to hijack!

Rebuilt by a company in Auckland.. I will have to check with the mechanic but I understand it's a company that specialise primarily in rebuilding steering racks etc.

She is now on Trademe.

I have also decided to reduce my asking price and have a lower reserve price (close to start price).

PM me for more details. I am available on cell (027) 4262941.

Dont sell it. You havn't even run in it yet.

You didn't spend all that time and money doing it up to sell it....

Perhaps list it on the BMW club site marketplace too Laurence. It will look a bargain compared to the $80K Sport Evo and Rolland's Cab :)

Crazy cool. I have never had so many views on a car I have had for sale before.. Almost at 3000 views on Trademe with a day and a half to go.

Wonder how many are from Bimmersport members

I guess congratulations are in order, but sad I didnt get to see more of it :(

Yes. I was very happy to have sold it 2 weeks and 5 days after I listed it on Trademe but I had priced it to sell.

Defenately very very sad to see her leave tonight. I would have loved to have driven her over summer. Such a FUN car to drive!!!!

It will not be my last M3 :)
