E34 Shocks an E30 Upgrade?

Do shocks from an E34 fit on an E30 and are they any sort of upgrade?

Anything is possible with mods

but why would you do that when there are enough E30 Shock upgrades arround to sink a battle ship.

and you can get custom ones made up for the same price as replacements if you want something diffrent

Thanks for the reply, my brother seemed to think the E34 shocks were an upgrade on the E30's. He obviously got it wrong, thanks for clearing it up.
