Fixed Back Bucket Seats

Ive recently scored a set of fixed back bucket seats for real cheap and i just wanted to know if they are legal to use i my car, would i still get wof ? i am going to use fixed mounts that go onto factory holes aswell as double locking rails.

I got wof's no problems. It's more the anchorage, seat belt angles, and if there's an airbag that they'd be checking.

Is your car a coupe?

If not then it'll be fine as long as it slides easily and the welds are tidy.

The steel has to also be a certain size. IIRC 3mm steel or 5mm ally. But don't quote me on that.

okay sweet thanks guys, i also forgot to note that mines a sedan, ive heard of problems with 2 doors and bucket seats becasue of passengers not being able to get in and out of the back seat incase of a emergency, unless you take out the rear sear and seatbelts. I should be sweet. Thanks

You've got it sussed. Not OK for coupes for passenger entry and egress, so you have to remove the rear seats and belts. No problems in a sedan though.
