JiB 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 I got wof's no problems. It's more the anchorage, seat belt angles, and if there's an airbag that they'd be checking.
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 Is your car a coupe? If not then it'll be fine as long as it slides easily and the welds are tidy. The steel has to also be a certain size. IIRC 3mm steel or 5mm ally. But don't quote me on that.
APT 195 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 okay sweet thanks guys, i also forgot to note that mines a sedan, ive heard of problems with 2 doors and bucket seats becasue of passengers not being able to get in and out of the back seat incase of a emergency, unless you take out the rear sear and seatbelts. I should be sweet. Thanks
bravo 35 Report post Posted September 13, 2009 You've got it sussed. Not OK for coupes for passenger entry and egress, so you have to remove the rear seats and belts. No problems in a sedan though. Do it!
