aliluya 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 The SE S700i has an excellent camera + a flash but it doesn't have symbian. The SE P910i has touch screen and Symbian. Can read office+pdf. The Nokia 9500 has Wireless connection + symbian. Can read office+pdf. I would like your opinions on these phones please, and size doesn't bother me at all so don't talk about that. If you could gimmi a reason for choosing it phone it would be appreciated.

Carl 3 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Nokia is the only phone that is not made of paper and will not fall to bits in a week or so. So Nokia is Vote. Paper? A week to fall to bits? Man, don't be so stupid and naive, i've seen nokia phones looking like they've been dropped from aeroplanes, it'll all comes down to how you look after your phone.Right now i've got a Sony Ericson and it's the best damn phone i've ever had, beats the nokia phones i've played with hands down. My phone has survived an hour in the bottom of my spa pool (Tim can confirm this) and it's still working perfectly. How many phones have you seen survive submersion in water??? It's also been dropped from the 6th floor of my office staircase and bounced all the way to the 2nd floor, still works perfectly, and after 2.5 years it still has over 8 days battery life. Plus for a phone that's been around for 3 years it's can still do everything that the new phones can do, including WAP porn and Vodafone LIVE! plus email, bluetooth, and PXT. I was looking at the K700 or the T630 for my next purchase so no vote from me sorry since I haven't played with any of these.

As a matter of fact i have .... My old 8250 dropped into the pool and got my friend to fish it back up ... used a hair dryer to dry it so rust and stuff doesn't form and kept on using it ...I beleive that the sturdyness of phones depends on what sort of phone it is aswell, like you can't compare one of those samsung mini phones against the likes of a Nokia 3310(which i used to have and it's pretty much gone to hell and back, i was extremely rough with that phone). But right now i need to make a decision on which of these three phones i should get.

martyyn 2 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 In the UK you can change your phone pretty much every nine months, the cost of the handset is heavily subsidised by the maker so if you have the balls you can phone them up and insist on an upgrade on a regular basis. Because of this in the last six years Ive had a nokia 5510, 3310, 3330, 6210, 6230, and an 8210, a panasonic GD87, and sony T610, T630 and now I have a K700i In my opinion the nokia's have very well thoughout menus, the panasonic had the bets camera, but each of the SE's Ive had kick all the others all over the park. Nokia just have too many phones each with a compromise that I wasnt prepared to make. Ive never gone into the symbian side of things as my priority has always been to have a small phone that can sync with outlook and get/send email. I have bluetooth on my laptop so thats always a must aswell. The only phone Ive had any trouble with is the Nokia 3330, our son (18 months) likes to play with it and dribbled all over the keyboard. We had it fixed 4 months ago but its just locked up again so in the bin it goes. Its all opinion of course but I would recommend the SE phones to anyone but then my priorities may not be yours and the phone may not do what you need it to do. mp3 ringtones on the k700i are excellent as is the tennis game ;-) Cheers Martyn
aliluya 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 The K700 is different to the S700 tho ... And i beleive all three of these phone's have MP3 ringtones ... One down side of the 9500 is no vibrate alrert ... And Vodafone won't let me try out the phones so i can't play with them, they said it's too high end of a phone .... m325i 709 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 parallel import. You can try a;; fones! I just got a k700i. Pretty please with it. The bluetooth is good, and its a good fone alround. I had a Nokia 7250i, but nokia screens suck! it kills the phone, (unless the new flip style with bigger screen = ok). SE is good. The camera sucks in low light. I reckon go SE, for one main reason. Themes. If ya dont know, now you know *****...

Sony Ericcson make fones that you have to click a million buttons just to start a new txt msg. Forgot to say...If you didn't know, SE phones allow you to create macros or shortcuts. I've set one up so that it speeds up the sms process to a couple of button clicks. And i beleive all three of these phone's have MP3 ringtones ...Mmmm, half the reason for my next upgrade...I already have the USB cable for my current SE so it's just a matter of upgrading... Carl 3 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 USB? your livingin th 90s. Get a bluetooth dongle! I already have a bluetooth phone??? Can't you read???What use is bluetooth anyway, i've only used it for sharing contacts and playing multi player games, buts that's about it. USB is much easier for file transfers than bluetooth since not everyone has bluetooth capable devices such as PC's...or didn't you think about that angle, no, I don't think you did. *I pity the fool* that doesn't think, before he speaks, before he makes a fool of himself.
