Wellington's BMW pre purchase inspection

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know any good mechanics that offer pre purchase inspection?

How much do they charge?

CHEERS.

I would be taking it to a specialist BMW mechanic. Not VTNZ or AA. Theyre useless!

I get my car serviced at Page European on Home Street (Mt Vic) Theyre very good, as most people on here would tell you.

Link: Page Euro

Cheers

Powerhaus on Tinakori Rd are also very good, but no complaints about Page Euro either.

Suggest that the search function is your friend, as this has been covered off before.

Depending on where the car is based

In Wellington City + 1 for Page European - they have done vehicle inpections for me before

In Porirua you could try Mike Wallis at Poriua European

In Kapiti you could try Mike Page at Mike Page European

If the seller really wants to sell their vehicle then im sure they would'nt mind dropping it off for the pre-purchase inspection. I know I would'nt mind if it ment selling my vehicle.

You will have to call the place you choose to get it checked at, book and pay for the inspection, then get them to fax, email, post the report to you on compleation.

Tell them under no circumstances are they to show or give the report to the owner of the vehicle. You paid the $$$ for it, not them. Plus you will know everything wrong with the car and be able to use the negatives when negotiating a price.
