2002 1 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 From memory, undo four bolts and remove sprocket. I concurr with Cam. Remove the top timing cover (the one attached to the head) then just remove the 4 bolts holding on the cam sprocket and you should be able to remove the sprocket. Sometimes I've found it helped to remove the chain tensioner, (the M19? cap on the the exhaust side) but it shouldn't be absolutely necessary. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
