I wouldn't ever get it only for the reason that we have atleast 3 breakdowns a week in front of my work and when the poor old woman come in and ring the AA, they are normally waiting outside for atleast an hour. bravo 35 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Lol, just out of curiosity, how did they say no to towing you home? +1 Where does it say in their membership crap that it doesn't count if you blow your clutch outside a racetrack? They refused to tow me home when I buckled a wheel on a pothole as they don't cover "accidents". This is why I don't think I'll be renewing. I almost changed my mind reading some of the above. But now I've changed back to "nup".
kingkarl 136 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Most of the AA guys are mechanically retarded. If I had a car like yours Graham, I wouldn't let them near it. They'll probably do more harm than good. Membership's good for flat batteries and if you get stuck on wet grass, but that's about, in my opinion.

laadeelaa 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 Mum made me get it when I first started driving. Not sure if I still have it. When I still had my e36 I had a break down on SH2. I called AA, waited for 2 hours, sitting in my car bawling my eyes out like a pathetic female, then sucked it in, grew some balls and did what I could to fix it. Dad ended up driving from Tauranga to almost the Auckland Southen Motorway and helped me out. I don't need AA. When I have my Dad.

antil33t 90 Report post Posted October 7, 2009 The only times ive needed helped in the E30, is when the thermostat shat itself, I just had to wait for an hour, and drive home. Turns out you need a tow hook if you want to tow your car.
