kingkarl 136 Report post Posted October 22, 2009 Saturday - Wake up at 4.30am Drive 3.5 hours to the mountain. Ski 8 hours. Drive 3.5 Hours home. Hit the piss at 8.00pm, go to town at 12.00pm. The road from hwy 3 over to Ohura is 70% gravel, they have done a lot of work on it in the last year or so but there's still some dodgy bits, take care mate. The road from hwy 3 over to Ohura is 70% gravel, they have done a lot of work on it in the last year or so but there's still some dodgy bits, take care mate. Will head SH3, Then turn off at 8Mile Junction after Piopio and head down to Taumaranui on SH4 then across to almost turangi on SH41 but will turn off just before to go to Kuratau.
