Guest FrantiC Report post Posted November 6, 2009 Looking to sell my 2.7 short block, has ETA crank rods and pistons. I bought it with 66,000kms . Drove it about 3-4,000kms and spent about 50km of it's life with a turbo. 10.2:1 CR flat top ETA pistons.. Brand new water pump and tensioner and timing belt. toothed crank wheel and mint crank sensor to run 1.3 motronic Thinking, $600? Also a fresh 885 head, Was rebuilt a couple months ago. Barely 50k's on it. New stem seals, valve guides, valve seats, rocker grind, head skimmed, crack and strength tested. Was sitting on a steel headgasket so the surface is still mint as. $500 Or... I can chuck in the 885 head, ETA 2.7 bottem end, intake and throttle body, Alternator and belt, pulleys, crank wheel and crank sensor, Sure I have a sump liying around somewhere too.. $1100 and its yours.. Offers welcome. No clutch / flywheel assembly available. Can possibly do a deal with turbo bits too if interested. Though I have already taken it apart as I was going back to N/A but have other plans in mind.

CamB 48 Report post Posted November 6, 2009 Gotta be a rota. That's my guess. Any sign of damage to the pistons from the time as a turbo?
