springs question

hi does anyone know where i can get some custom springs made for the e34?

its at the height i want but needs to be a bit stiffer. pulling into driveways ect scrapes on the gurds. so would getting custom springs made up ( with a stiffer spring rate ) solve this? or would shortning the shocks work? the springs are hard enough but would like it a bit stiffer.

any ides?

or take the 25mm hub adaptors off and loose the look? i think not lol

um not too sure where to get custom springs, mabey nz springs? look them up in white pages.

IMO i would get some stiffer shocks, ie bilstiens. cheaper than getting custom springs i think.

Plus if your springs are too hard and you have soft shocks you will get a lot of spring jounce and rebound.

I dont know that for a fact but thats what i imagen would happen.

Do this.

Stiffer springs will not solve your problem. It is rubbing because the offset of the wheels is wrong.

thanks for all the info guys. ive now got 205s on the front insted of the 235s.

they tuck under the guard now ( when i hit a bump ), its just turning into driveways ect. i can do it on full lock no probs but half lock the wheel goes up too far and wants to eat the guard.

so if i get stiffer shocks not stiffer springs it will solve the prob? im going to roll the guards out abit anyway.

anymore ideas?

SHOULD not will, i wont put a guarantee on it but im 99% sure it will.
