antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) Need a Facelift M20, Ended up toasting mine attempting to get home after all the water ended up not in the engine, Couldn't get the bleed valve off to get a massive airlock out the system, And since some lovely previous owner decided I diddn't need the tow eye, couldn't tow it either. Ahh well, sh*t happens. So, Need to find out some prices for a M20B20 or a B25, personally I'd rather the B25, as well it's better. Open to suggestions. ta. PS. SOMEONE SELL ME A TOWING EYE Edited November 20, 2009 by antil33t

antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 There's only one wrecker here unforunately. I'm sort of hoping to get an M20B25 for that sort of coin I would love to do an M50, but since my cars autotragic, I'd need to convert it to manual aswell. Might be worth getting a tu meke as deal in the North Island and paying for freight possibly

I found this on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-254616197.htm Could use the autobox for now, and hang onto the manual for later maybe? If you bought that I'd just go the whole hog and get a driveshaft, pedal box, clutch line etc and convert it. Would save messing around taking it all apart and also would save having to do the conversion under the car in the future..
antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 Yeah, that's allways food for thaught.... Will talk to dad tonight...
antil33t 90 Report post Posted November 21, 2009 Quite keen on getting that M20B25 + Box, Just need to convince Dad about the Manual conversion. He said If we got that, He'd just stick it on the automatic for a while, then When I had the parts to do the manual side, do that then... surely the parts that that engine/box are missing can't be that expensive.... Would rather buy a B25 over than a B20, since I wanted to go B25 anyway.
e30plz 1 Report post Posted November 21, 2009 Yes. B25 + Manual is just what your car needs. Do it boe.

Don't want to wake him up or anything.... Now that I have lend of a car, I'm going to go see the local wrecker, who will very much likely want far too much for one.
