Driftit 2078 Report post Posted December 6, 2009 Hey just picked up a new box for my race car. But when I put the old and new beside each other I noticed that the new one is not quite the same. This is the old one. And this is the new one. As you will notice the new one does not have the mount for the gear linkage. What linkage does it use? Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) The new one is early preface, should have come with a pressed metal plate which mounts on the back of that box to take the shift lever. You can still use the short shift I believe.The one I have out here has the cast fitting like your first one.
