Braeden320 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I quit smoking. Quite easy really, dont know why I spent so many years and so much money trying to prematurely kill myself whilst looking like a completely filthy leper. Feels great to be a non smoker after 13 years. Nice work! I gave up earlier this year, had a relapse gave up again and now havn't had one since August. Best thing I've ever done, You feel so much better for it.
Apex 693 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) Problem is people quit and somehow feel they are missing out and are deprived, they also dont realize one cigarette is all it takes to be addicted again. There is no such thing as just one. You are a smoker or a non smoker. Takes three weeks for 99% of the drug to leave your system, takes half an hour for it to die down making you want more. Honestly, Allen Carrs book is the way to go, even if you dont want to quit it is a good read. Edited January 5, 2010 by Apex
