chrisvlok 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2010 Hey everyone, I was talking to someone today who said its possible to put chain or cable links between your sus arms and the body to stop them going down all the way. In essance possibly lowering the car or stopping the wheels from droping down when you jack the car up. He said it would get rid of that "skiding" feeling under hard cornering when a sudden shaking/jumping sensation is felt throughout the car as if its griping then sliping griping the sliping. Is this possible? and would it make for better or worse handling? Cheers
e30ftw 410 Report post Posted January 2, 2010 (edited) Wtf. Isn't that how the mexicans lowered their cars, They would compress the springs and chain them down? I don't think whoever gave you that advice is very smart, Unless I am thinking the wrong thing. But seriously, Chaining your suspension arms down...???
