Greg111 13 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Hence the price. Still a cheap "new" M5.
Dyl 4 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Good luck replacing EVERY piece of rubber on that one. I had to do it on my M3 when I bought it with 34000km. Every bit of rubber for the fuel tanks, hoses, seals etc had dried up and perished as it never had a full tank of gas. NIGHTMARE. Still, the engine was mint. Would be a real kick to own that M5. Greg111 13 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Just to add on that, the coolant in the engine would have loved the gaskets it would have eaten being a non runner for 20 years.
