hamish5 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 Hey looks good, I always wanted a estriol blue one but settled for black. Were Aus ones the same spec as ours? I see yours has an older style steering wheel and even headunit? Have the seats been recovered? nonetheless fantastic car

(Someone correct me if im wrong) The only difference between the two is the rear parcel tray has safety latches added for baby seats. Yea, the steering wheel I have seen in lots of e34's. The interior was completely re done a month ago and cost $8000! The previous owner had the stitching match the estriol blue too!
hamish5 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 Yea and it was the steering wheel the 3L came with.. Looks good aye, was there a reason for the refurb? he didnt get the m sport lines put back on the seat corners.. Estriol blue looks good with my (old) interior the light grey. DrphTa 5 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Time for a small update - New Grill - Painted the front lower lip estoril, not sure if I dig it yet. May go back to black along with the grill Next on the list - lowering, 30-40mm. Haven't decided to go with springs or adjustables. - New wheels (on there way, hehe) spaced to ET15 - Paint rear diffuser - Simota intake - Supersprint exhaust - Remove boot spoiler
Guest Ari Gold Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Woah, I never noticed that the front bumper doesn't line up with the skirts on an M3.

Greg111 13 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Or the rear. Car looks good man, i think the front lip would proberly look better black, do you have a front shot?
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Here yah go, Placement for bimmersport sticker anyone? Im thinking rear left window
joshnz 2 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Nice car, just curious .. with all your planned mods, I know Aussie is strict on these, how are you going about that?
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 Have to enter a form for approval with QLD Transport. Changing from OEM suspension from what I have read looks strict and expensive to get approval. Hence leaning towards lowering with different springs. Exhaust shouldnt be a problem as long as the emission and sound meets the Standards. Good read up here http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Safet..._modifications/
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted March 24, 2010 The car looks stunning mate. I'm not at all a fan of painted trim bits like the M3 front lip, and I always facepalm when I see a painted rear diffuser. They came black from factory to stand out in a subtle way and painting them makes them blend in IMO kinda defeats the purpose of a M3 bumper but that's my 2c. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out with the wheels and lowering! Estoril Blue ftmfw!
