tonylauno1 7 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 When turning the steering wheel I hear a couple of clicks, then when I turn the other way there was a few more clicks then the airbag light came on + no horn + no radio or cruise control. Borrowed a slip ring, plug it in and everything is working again so I have a faulty slip ring Can that be repaired? Shall I ask mechanics on Tuesday or is there some other place that can repair them? tonylauno1 7 Report post Posted January 31, 2010 i have some from e36 , e34 etc etc .opps, I should have mention that it's a e46 Also if it can't be repaired, I'm looking to buy one with the 2 pin smg connection. I am currently using my old slip ring, this 2nd hand one I bought from the states so I doubt it's economical to return.
