WTBorrow: Bearing Puller in CHCH

If anyone has a bearing puller in Christchurch that'd id be able to borrow let me know, or if i can hire one somewhere??

I dont really want to spend $80 on a puller if its only going to be used once or twice aye

Try looking on TradeMe? alternatively flick it on TM once you are finished. Would probably work out cheaper than hiring one.. if you can hire one..

IMO with the amount of power your car is making, you will probably need it more than a few times...I would just buy one, its an investment if you get a decent one and want to DIY on more than one car in your life.

If you are wanting to use it to get the rear halfshaft out, You will rip the hub off and destroy the bearing before the axle shaft even moves.

Rear halfshaft is out, it twisted the spline a good mm and snapped it off, wheelbearing is shagged also (probally why the cv snapped) so just trying to get that out to replace.
