e30 pfl injector wiring loom

Hi all, have just put my engine back together after a few months of cleaning it all up, now it wont start!!!! not even a click from the starter!!!

the only thing i wasnt 100% sure off was a small wire tht came from the end of the injector plug loom, a long wire with spade terminal and rubber boot - where is tht meant to go??

could there something else tht could be causing it that ive negleted to have done??

only took the induction system/intake manifold and rocker cover off really

Spade terminal goes to one of the sensors on the thermostat housing.

are you sure?? there are the two sensors striaght after the injectors but i cant see no spade terminal??

the only one i can see is on the side of the distributor

Long one with the spade is your Oil pressure switch wire (down under your oil filter)

If it is not even turning over then you have connected your starter up wrong.

On a PFL there should be two big wires (red and black) on one terminal. And two small wires on there own terminals. One below the main terminal and one next to it.

If you have these backwards it will not turn over. Sometimes if you have them backwards the starter will not throw out and engage.
