Greg111 13 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 When removing the drive belt and the AC belt yesterday on the E36 i noticed a pump looking thing that sat beside the AC compressor, was on the Ac belt circuit, had a clutch just like the compressor but had a large pipe coming out the back of it and ran into the back of the airbox on the other side of the engine bay. If that makes sense, hard to explain with out pictures, i assume Glenn would know what i'm babbling on about? Sneaky forced induction Will put up a pic when i'm with the car next. CamB 48 Report post Posted April 1, 2010 (edited) Its there on the realoem pics - part of the emissions control system. Dodgy system to dilute the air so it gets a better emissions result. Edited April 1, 2010 by CamB
