E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 13, 2010 Definately the "marmite" car, you either love it or hate it, no middle ground with this one. ^^ As it is now = bad This = better And this = best incarnation of this project.
Guest Simon* Report post Posted April 13, 2010 I liked it when it was rusty and on wide RS'es, I liked it when it was black and on wide RS'es. I think I'd like it in almost any condition, low and on the right wheels. To be fair I think a set of wide BBS RS make ANY BMW look good, and don't we all know it! Now NOT such a fan with the non-BMW powerplant, the POS intercooler and exposed lines setup, nor the ACS wheels. He's just trying way too hard. For the record I still just love E28's too - that and his photography were what made me notice "Rusty" in the first place. But good looking ones, with good wheels and stance just look good full stop

M.Burroughs 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the kind words guys. I understand why many of you dislike the car... after all, it is a rusty beat up 5er. But with that said, I mod my cars for myself. If you don't like it, cool. You've got your car to make it how you want. As far as "trying too hard", I'm not trying for anything. I do something because I like it. As far as being unoriginal or not innovative, I'd like to see how your car compares to a twice-totaled E28 with a twin turbo toyota motor, air suspension, rust, and a cult following. Again, I appreciate the positive feedback, and understand the negative. Just keep doin' what you guys do and keep the BMW spirit alive. -Mike Edited April 13, 2010 by M.Burroughs
