modz 148 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 looking at a very tidy silver 1992 E32 740i, 214km, leather in good cond, service hist, sunroof etc and unfortunately a sh*tload of woodgrain.... Under $5k to buy (family) ballpark, although I would prefer the later shape, it could be a cheap towcar which i could punt daily (moreso than a terrible handling 4wd/SUV) so it ticks the boxes. thoughts? things to look out for? Parabolica 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 for the 740 i would mainly be looking to make sure the water is clean and green and that there are no major oil leaks. You dont really want to spend anything on it because of what its worth. And of course make sure the auto is smoooooth. Other than just change the woodgrain inside to native kauri and you all good.
