Brendan 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 Hi Some time ago I posted this topic but didnt get anywhere so I'm trying again.I'm doing a restore of this car which I've had for awhile and now want to replace the original carpet sets . There are two bonded sound insulation foam/ carpet parts which are split under the front seats. The foam is moulded to the floor pan shape so trying to just recarpet is problematic and I would prefer to find the correct parts .Jerry C's had them in stock Nov last year but BMW ended them in Dec and I understand the parts world wide have been returned to BMW. Probably to be auctioned off for RH drives to UK rest to where ever. Apex 693 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 I would say your best bet is to source some mint second hand carpets, both E30’s I have had have had absolutely mint carpets so im guessing there would be plenty out there, sedan and touring will be the same. Not the grey stuff, actual anthrazite.
