Whats the best way to roll guards?

Today i took my Subby for a warrant but it failed as the rims were past the guard, about 5mm...i went home pissed off and rolled the guards(in a rush) got to the last one and a dirty crack popped in my one month old paint job arghhh. Stupid me!!!

So, what do's or don'ts do you guys have for people rolling guards? Mine is take your time!!!!

i would say get a proper guard roling tool and do it right.

I had the proper rolling guard tool... A baseball bat!!! :lol: :lol:

I have never even heard of a guard rolling tool!

arent u suppose to use a heat gun to keep the paint warm so it wont crack? mallet would do instead of baseball bat

There are rolling tools on tm which look identical to that one in Kerrys post for $40.

Too late for me now though...40 bucks would have been much better then the 300-400 it's gonna cost to get the panel repainted! Live and learn i guess ^_^

I heard a stop sign/give way sign (pole) works a treat.

However I am not encouraging you to go and steal a stop sign. :lol:

He has a pink S14 and he has a ninja headband.... he knows what hes doing.
