Options for lowering 328i coupe

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Having let go of the E30 today to its new owner (i shed a quiet tear as he drove off) I am looking at putting some new springs into my Msport 328i coupe - it has recently had rebuilt shocks so I may or may not have to shorten them.

What I'm after is some low or super-low springs (pref super low), I don't know whether super low will fall under 100mm (not really wanting to have to cert again) - according to the reseller of Jamex springs on Tardme he says the car should still sit over 100mm, could anyone confirm or deny this?

Can anyone confirm or deny this? I can get shocks shortened for f**k all so not worried about having to do that.

just slam some king springs in there man, they will be slightly higher than the jamex superlows, king spring is around 45-50mm jamex tends to be closer to 60-65.. and it should still be high enough.. ive never got a car under 100mm with kings.

Superlow kings or just low?

I remember I had my old old E36 320 on jamex lows and that sat under 100m :S

Coilovers, it's probably time to do the shocks anyway.

$900 I paid for Vmax.

Superlows went in today, little bit lower than I wanted so I may change that soon, but it still looks pretty tight <_<
