*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 I know this has previously been done to death. However I want to hear from people who have actually fitted and used these kits. A couple of us doing projects want to know where to get these from. We don't want the type that have accentric centres. We want the type that have the welded plates and have the accentric bolts very similar to E39 rear adjusters.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 Havent used any personally myself, but these appear to be one of the better kits. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80410 Thanks... thats what we are after... were going to import some of these types of kits

JiB 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 Would be interested in pricing - I was planning on making my own before I decided to sell up. I priced up $138 in materials (retail). Was struggling to figure out the weird spacers though - which would probably be best if water/laser cut.

sp8s 1 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 I remember the days when Reidrubber made kits like that for all the cars of the 70's 80's. Personally fitted heaps of them to Escorts Cortinas etc.
JiB 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2010 ^^^ Did you read the article and the threads ? All the answers there Couldn't find anything on how to manufacture them, I tried making one with a small cutter on the mill and angles with a set bandsaw - but it didn't turn out so good
CamB 48 Report post Posted May 10, 2010 I bought some Ireland Engineering ones but haven't had them installed yet. Huuuuuuge eccentric. There's a really awesome Datsun 510 solution which someone should BMW-replicate. It'd be way easier to adjust: http://www.datsport.com/Adjustable_rear_cross_member.html
Eagle 1662 Report post Posted May 10, 2010 Got the posted setup in my E30(soon to be Mark V's) they work well. I installed the toe adjustment bolt facing towards the diff so easy to adjust but made the nut on the otherside near impossible to get at with filling down an open end spanner
