Gaz 1059 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 Nice price. I would be all over this if the e46 wasn't such a pain to convert to manual.
smiddy 76 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 E46 auto has lower ratio diff than manual, probably quicker in straight sprint.
smiddy 76 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 Maybe my age slowing me down, but a 200hp TQ engine in a luxury sedan, car was designed for auto. Heavy car nice to drive, manual- no. Thats wat the M series is about! If I want to clutch in traffic 300hp is the cross over.
JiB 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2010 The auto 5 speed isn't bad at all. It tries to behave like a manual (holds gears, engine brakes when appropriate, etc) But I agree with wayney, I think it's definitely more of a cruiser. Hybrid/Josh on here takes his steptronic 330i on track, so it can't be all bad right? Dirty old pic up, weather still sucks.
JiB 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2010 Offers will be considered. I still think it's a lot of car for the money! Pics still pending Auckland weather.
