aliluya 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 I don't know miles or gallons ... so i'll give it in km and litres .. BMW 316ti 2004 E46 manual I usually get on average 650-700kms out of one tank of 60litres ....(i know it's 63L tank but i fill 60 everytime)... And that is doing 90% in town and 10% on motorway at 108kph.

Grant 4 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 I get pretty darned good gas milage from my 1990 E30 (5spd) with just general everyday driving, but then I only need low revs with its reasonably high torque so can easily dawdle around at 1500 - 1750 revs comfortably. On the open road I drove from Hamilton to Wellington, did a bit of driving in Wellington and then filled up again at Otaki on the way back. Generally I would like to think I would get 650kms - 700km's on a tank of gas (62l) and a mixture of open road and town driving. When I really push the car, the good gas milage goes out the window in a big way. I am pretty sure that the changed ECU will not affetc this at all (unless my driving behaviour changes) Cheers
E30_318i 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 (edited) In my old E30 318 I got 160km from 10 litres. That works out to about 6.6km/l. Haven't worked out what i get in the 525, the gague is so inaccurate its not worth the hassle. Edited February 24, 2005 by E30_318i
