Req Info on e46 mounting of a fire extinguisher

Guys i am after some info on mounting a fire extinguisher in my e46, Its just a safety thing i would like to put in and i feel is always handy to have in your car.

Are there already mount points in the boot or anywhere that anybody knows of. ??

Any info would be great.

None that I know of. We fitted one to the top of the plastic battery cover for a customer

depends where you want to place it. do you want it in the cabin for quick access or in the boot etc? I had mine (in my E30 though) mounted infront of the drivers seat.. had the seat full back and im the only one that drives it so no need to put the seat forward ever. Relocated it the boot after a while for a cleaner interior though

Cheers for the info guys, Will have a look around oem and see if they have anything listed at all in the way of a bracket or anything.
