it's probably just hanging on something. Clear your cache and try again.

If it keeps happening just reload.

Sorted.

Must have been computability problem, XP version running on W7??

Downloaded new copy and all's well.

Ummm yeah, no support for client side SSL certificates (so no good for me at work where I need to access secure online applications).

And no decent password managers available.

And still very few decent add-ons.

For your average web user it's great, but missing some "basic" tools for advanced users if I am permitted to use an oxymoron.

Edit: Oh, and do you really want big brother google looking over your shoulder. it's bad enough I use their email service. is there anything Google doesn't know?

Are you sure?

Have had no issues with SSL and it happily manages all my passwords. It's easily tweaked and there are addons too, but TBH since I left Firefox I haven't been bothered with any

I don't like a password manager without a master password. Firefox is almost as bad. I did a wee test the other day - protected my firefox passwords with a master password. I then copied the file it stores the passwords in to another computer and imported them into firefox. No master password required and there were all my passwords for anyone to see. So I use a firefox plugin to handle my passwords.

As for the SSL, they may have added support for client certs, but last I checked it still didn't support them. It has always supported server-side certs.
