wheel bearing

Recommended Posts

Attached is photo, of before and after, this is not what i would recommend, and should probably be under rangi mods thread.

I had the privilege of coming across this nightmare when removing a wheel bearing from my brothers 1.8T a4 b5 chassis.

the closest thing i had to the diameter i needed to find a nice place on the ring, and be able to bash it out, with out braking the object was a stuffed turbo housing core.

after 1.5 hours on the bench grinder it went from a turbo core -> wheel bearing removal tool, even then it still took a good half hour of bashing
