crazyarab 6 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 Hey guy, Seem like one or two of my fuel injectors are playing up which is causing startup and idle issues, my mechanic is suggesting I get them cleaned but I figure since I'm paying might also consider getting some new/upgraded ones? Has anyone experimented with upgrading injectors if so recommendations? Cheers in advance.

Creaver 55 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 To get mine professionally cleaned and new seal/filter kits cost me around $300 if that helps. Ian

hotwire 352 Report post Posted August 25, 2010 + 1 to what Glenn said. No point in replacing without first confirming the fault. Also, Ian's $300 about right for remove/check/service/seal replacement/refit for 8 lungs
nigel_1981 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2010 Back to the OP, I've also wondered about the advantage "upgrading" fuel injectors. The design of injectors is forever evolving, better atomisation can only mean better fuel economy when cruising and better power when nailing it..
