Apex 693 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Have this saved to my watch-list. I wonder what they want for it, its the mintest one I have seen in a long time. Dreams of painting the wheels black and giving it a nice stance. Would look smart.

Because in NZ new and a limited edition car marketed when new to celebrate BMW's NZ touring car success, they also have lots of fruit. Its a model that appeals to purists and fans of BMW NZ sold new models, we don't all want a Japanese import, some of us don't recognize imports as an option I would think its worth the starting price and more. I love Dakar but would still rather a Fiji Green please.

hotwire 352 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Yep, nice car & I do personally like Dakar Yellow. Couldn't see it suiting a lot of cars but I recon it's good for E36 Prick of a colour for NZ sun though Price - market will dictate - but it's credentials are good - as Graham states above
mackt 1 Report post Posted October 9, 2010 Hi I spotted this car up in Alex, I'm slightly interested even with it been mellow yellow. These special editions were made in South Africa, but I don't see that as a problem. I have tried to find some reviews about the 318is and there isn't much online. Seem that they are fun to drive and handle great and don't drink too much fuel. But my concern is about the power, going from a 328i and 540i is the engine going to seem underpowered, or is it a case of 'driving' it and using the gearbox? Anyone with real life experience? thanks
Greg111 13 Report post Posted October 10, 2010 Well it isn't a 4.0l V8 or a 2.8l six so you will feel it is slower obviously but with a manual box you will be able to "drive" it. P.S................best colour in the world!
msport-wut 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2010 Anyone know what this would roughly go for? Yellow ain't too bad I like cars that stand out a bit, yellow will do that! And nom nom @ those seats.
