Im looking to get an e39 530i my main requirements are: Motorsport Worldtuner with full 16:9 system (nav to be converted) Leather would be nice but is proving to be near impossible to find in a msport model These are the two i have been mainly looking at: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-319190141.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-315970566.htm The later seems like a better deal but it is in Christchurch (maybe this is why it is cheaper???) Any advise on what kind of money i should be paying would be great!!! Also if there is someone in CHCH willing to go have a gork for me once it gets there to see what kinda condition it is in would be awesome! That would be awsome! Dealers seems to love having what seems to be webcam photos of their cars ... not helpful!!! allan 295 Report post Posted October 20, 2010 Take your time look / drive as many as you can the 5 series has taken a big price hit so their are some bargains out their to be had. Try for a late 2003 assembled model with high spec, by then they had sorted most of the bugs out. Also PDC on these can be a God sent as the E39 is not an easy vehicle to see out the back to reverse. Pity i've left the search so close to xmas Matt - you will probably be hard pushed to get a Jap E39 with PDC - I have only seen one Jap Touring with this. Euro spec (NZ) cars were commonly fitted with. You are obviously aware of the rear camera option - good alternative.
