Jacko 2158 Report post Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) A few bits up for grabs, open to offers on the lot, I have no where too store them. Engine can be seen/heard running for the next 3 weeks in the car, all the bits will be available to pick up end of November early December in Mt Eden. - M20B23 L-Jet 145xxx miles. Runs and sounds sweet, no valve train noise, starts first pop everytime. Was blowing smoke on engine braking and then accelerating, but a recent oil change seems to have fixed that. Wise man would change the thermostat, waterpump, cambelt before installing, as I have no record of when they were last done. It does not come with a flywheel or starter motor, but is otherwise complete with alternator/loom/mounts/dme etc. Engine possibly has an more agro cam than stock, but I cant confirm it as have never driven another B23, going from the words on the internets the UK M323's had higher lift/duration cams fitted, and the engine feels quite peaky too drive, compared to a normal 323 which aparently has a flatish power curve. It kept up with a mates GSR libero, and smoked a GT starlet for what its worth Cheapest bang for buck upgrade for a 318/320 around. $300 * Metal airbox, could use a paint - $30 * 3:23 Medium cased diff, whines a bit, lock it up and do skids, or rebuild with an LSD centre? - $50 * 323 Halfshafts (pair) - $50 * Stock e30 gearstick - $5 * 4 Spoke E30 steering wheel, good nick - $20 * 323 Radiator+expansion tank, average condition radiator but doesnt leak, tank is tidy - $30 * 323 exhaust twin pipe exaust, complete from manifold to rear muffler, no leaks (i know of at least!) - $40 * Front and rear sway bars, 20mm and 13.5mm, including NEW polyurethane bushes $150 * New Rear sway bar links (ordered in error) pair - $50 SOLD * Brake booster, could do with a lick of paint if your that way inclined. Take the lot for half a gorilla. Edited January 25, 2011 by Jacko

Jacko 2158 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Would you be keen to send the bars/bushes to Dunedin? Could be done, Ive sent model planes bigger and heavier using fastway couriers before, they werent too steep price wise, be less than $50 at a guess. Jacko 2158 Report post Posted December 4, 2010 Bumpppppppppppppppppp. Surely someone wants uber cheap lowering springs + sports shocks and swaybars etc Theyre around a 50mm drop, nice spring rates, not rock solid and are nice for everyday driving. Shock are around 30% harder than stock. Make your E30 go around corners
