Eddie 66 Report post Posted November 25, 2010 I've got a 740i with the M60B40 After a bit of a thrash it now has no oil pressure. At first when it happened I turned the car off, then restarted it. It was fine for about 1km and then the oil warning came back up . Now the oil pressure warning is on all the time and you can hear that it has got little or no oil pressure. thorburn 121 Report post Posted November 25, 2010 Oil pump nuts are known for backing out of m60's just like on m50/2's But i'm not sure if that would explain the light going out when you were going again.
