WTB: E46 Motorsport, Manual

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am in the market for an E46 manual, has to be motorsport, full leather seats, descent service history. Can be either a 323, 325, 328 or 330. Would prefer coupe but sedans also considered :)

Let me know if there are any around.

Cheers

Mahiman

Hi Guys,

If you really need a manual, I have a 6 speed manual gearbox for sale.

very hard to find a nice manual e46. I just sold my 328ci manual and miss it dearly!

so if you find a nice car but in auto it would be a reasonably straight forward job to convert...

done a far bit of research and have the parts list do a conversion - well worth the effort.

the g'box I have is off a Z4 and will fit M50 and M52 engines- so 6cyl engines

I agree you be lucky to get a manual for 14k even with higher K's

( my nz new 328ci sold for $16500 with 165km on the clock. )

Well I could go a bit higher but I noticed a couple of 328Cis sold a 1-2 years ago for around 15-17K. So around 14K seems fair now for something descent, I could probably go to 18K for something really good.

You have to realise though with the recession that people looking to buy in this this price range don't have much spare money these days. I haven't had a pay rise for over two years for instance...

IMO I reckon you'll get what you want, for the money you have. But. you'll just have to wait

for the right one to pop up. Could be 1 month, could be 10. Good things take time!
