Pugcow 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 Hey, Due to a mistake when importing my 330i M-Sport was badged as a plain 320i, it's getting re-badged but I'm still in two minds as to what to do with it and wanted some opinions on what badges to use and where to place them. Since it's a factory M-Sport I can stick one of those ///M badges on the back yeah? So should I stick that on instead of the 330i? Next to it? 330i on the right side and ///M on the left? Or just badge the 330i and leave the ///M off altogether? Thoughts and opinions gratefully received.
Tristan 338 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 I have a 530i Factory M-Sport. It came badged as a 530i which I removed and just put the M badge on. Looks better than numbers which make no sense to most people

JaseNZ 53 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 Everybody has their own opinion on this. I removed mine and just have the ///m. Its a case of each to their own so just do what you think looks best.

Did you just put the ///M where the 330i would have been?

my_e36 43 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 Personally, just 330i for me. Too many 318 with a ///M badge on these days. Please don't do ///M330i.... or ///M

Well done. I would vote for the 330i no M badge option
huff3r 347 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 Be stealth as and go for a 318i badge or leave the 320i there haha. But on a more serious note, I wouldnt go for debadged purely just cos every debadged E46 ive seen has been a 318i

But on a more serious note, I wouldnt go for debadged purely just cos every debadged E46 ive seen has been a 318i Yeah, wasn't keen on totally debadging since if I've got the 3 litre I might as well say so, in my experience the only people who debadge have the 318s like you say. I wondered about the 320 on there at the mo, I don't get much attention from ricers I think due to the badge, but they do tend to look puzzled when I pull away from the lights with a bit more power than they expected
