water leak....

Recommended Posts

So on my summer drive, I noticed a small amount of water that seems to be orginating from the middle of the car.

Since it was hot the car's just had a major service and it's never really been an issue before I assumed it would be condensation or water from the AC, i've seen other BM's do this too.

However parking the car away there was more water on the road than I would have expected.

is this normal?

sorry I should specify. Yes AC was running hard. The amount of water made a small wet patch approximately the size of a small envelope. from sitting for only a few minutes, also left a trail as I drove into the garage.

Coolant level normal. Car never get's hot. Never seen it before this summer break but haven't had the car AC running this hard before.

If its clear and tastes like plain water...thats what it is. Allow the engine to get cold and check your coolant level to assure youself. Also taste the coolant so you know what the taste is like.

It's quite normal for the AC evaporator plate to produce alot of water with the temperatures we are having ATM

Just dont drink all the coolant, even if it does taste really sweet.
