nzhaystack 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2011 Hey Everyone, Got my oil service light reset by the mechanics today and nothing happened, he then mentioned something in the cluster needs replacing then left. I took out the cluster and it stated that the oil service light battery had been replaced in 1994. Anyone know where about the battery is and what type it is and how to get to it without causing to much destruction? Cheers Mitch
_ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) take the hex head gold screws out of the back of the cluster there is 8 or 10 and then pull the cluster in half, and you should be able to see it at the bottom. Mark 178 Report post Posted January 10, 2011 Pretty sure cluster battery is one AA... Needs to be soldered in place. DIY job if you're confident.
