E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) hi does anyone know where i can get a M3 front bumper for my 328i E46 and also opinions on weather its worth changing or should i leave it as is? My opinion is that the front on the pre-facelift M-sport, which you have, is worth improving. The M3 front would be one way of doing it - but there is a little bit of work required.Another option, which MAY be a straight bolt on, would be the facelifted M-sport front, looks way better to me cleaner and more aggressive. Quite similar to the M3, and still fits with the rest of the pfl sport kit. Sometimes pop up on trademe or at the specialist breaker - like HellBM or Mosen's, some replicas floating around as well (I think the photo may actually be a replica!!), so a bit more available. hybrid 1043 Report post Posted January 22, 2011 Do you miss it Josh ?? In all honesty not really .. it was a bloody cool car but I love not having to worry about things now in the 540. Also the e30 has filled the hoon void and is far more fun to drive.

bmpower 3 Report post Posted January 23, 2011 I have an e46 m3 style front bumper but its for a prefl coupe, not sure how easy it would be to fit to a prefl sedan though.
hybrid 1043 Report post Posted January 23, 2011 looks realy nice josh where did you get this bumper from and did it bolt straight on or did you modify to make it fit? thanks I got it new from BMW. no quite a bit if you scroll through that e46fanatics thread has to be done to make an OEM bumper fit. rewelded the gaurds with m3 (coupe) guards and I used the standard 330i sedan front carrier. If you use a m3 front bumper, you need to get the 01 bumper shell .. not the 02 upwards, as it has carbon fiber carriers .. and is very expensive. Personally, If I were you and you want the m3 look, research and find a aftermarket m3 copy. It will work out way cheaper. The cars also running m3 side skirts as stated in that before and after thread. Which are actually pretty cheap. (350 each unpainted) last time I looked
