Socket What?

Recommended Posts

As far as I can find out my MB ML320 CDI needs a 13 pin euro socket converter. Does anyone know where I can get these from? About to try the dealer tomorrow but would like to escape OEM costs if possible...

It's a pretty common converter lead, I've seen them in Repco and also in the local 4x4 / diesel / autosparky specialists in town. Shouldn't be too expensive either.

Are you serious? $180!! They are supplied by Narva - any auto sparky should have been able to get this or even make one up for sweet FA.

Makes the BMW dealer pricing look pretty competitive...

Nah it's not Narva this one, some other orange brand thing. Looks good quality.

Its euro style, Common as now,

13 - 15 pins, The ones you are thinking of are 8 pin,

Enough to run the basics,

The 15 pins have reverse, Fog, constant power, acc power etc......

For towing caravans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've bought the 13 pin which works a treat. I had a spare 7 pin lying around which just wouldn't fit.
