Tommy 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Some people who own E30's would have noticed that wen it rain or you wash your car on a slight downward angle The water builds up in the gutters around the boot and has know where to drain off. Just sits there and slow dribbles into your boot If any person has found a solution to this PLEASE tell me!!!
Gus 5 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 drill holes in the rear valance?
Tommy 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Yeah I thought of that at first, but were it builds up is in the back corners. And If you drill under that it would just go straight into the boot. Its a bit of a toughy Maybe I'll just have to deal with it :banghead:
Surge 1 Report post Posted April 21, 2005 Yeah I noticed that as well, but I believe the water getting into your boot is from the rear seal around the lights (that or a failed boot seal, check it all over for damage) The water drains off the back of the car above the lights, that piece where 'stagnant' water can accumulate is fine providing the paint around the area is in good nick!
