BMWTouring 20 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 To be honest an E38 740i would be cheaper to run... and maintain.
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 Disagree with that one mate, I get 700-800 ks a tank on the Highway. Atleast 600 around town. Thats 10L/100km or less... His 7 wont match that. Maintain yes
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 To put it politely, I can maintain 6L/100km on the flat at 110.... lol But back OT, Do it get a m3! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-353084204.htm
DrphTa 5 Report post Posted February 8, 2011 drive an M62 nicely and they are pretty frugal and would easily match 10l/100kms on the highway. BMW Figure- highway 8.5l/100kms BMW figure or not thats based on "Average Highway" driving. Come to AUS, Ill show you the flat. Sorry mate but I have to laugh when you say your 4L v8 can compete with a 3.2L I6 in petrol consumption
