I own a mint condition 740i 1998 bmw and i am heading down to lincoln for uni and cant really afford the v8 gas prices! and i am very keen in finding a m3 evo?

a few weeks late. there was a quick sale here for a e36 evo m3 sold for 15k a week or 2 ago.

Disagree with that one mate, I get 700-800 ks a tank on the Highway. Atleast 600 around town. Thats 10L/100km or less... His 7 wont match that. Maintain yes

drive an M62 nicely and they are pretty frugal and would easily match 10l/100kms on the highway.

BMW Figure- highway 8.5l/100kms

BMW figure or not thats based on "Average Highway" driving. Come to AUS, Ill show you the flat.

Sorry mate but I have to laugh when you say your 4L v8 can compete with a 3.2L I6 in petrol consumption

We're in NZ not Aus, and its a 4.4ltr.

Last I checked petrol consumption is the same in cars between NZ and AUS (same car) in same driving conditions...

city driving = get m3. open road = e38 should be good. can get about 10l / 100km. on city driving my e38 averages about 14l/ 100km

I get 13-15l/100km around the city (if no motorway), LOL.
