Pod filtering my e36, upon removing my factory airbox i found there is what looks like coolant pipes. anybody know why they are for and would they be fine cable tied to the new pod filter?? Jacko 2156 Report post Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) Intake heat You can blank the system off easily enough, One fitting is on the "spider" hose, the other is off a fitting on the head, runs too the throttle body to de-ice it. or just put a k&N panel filter in it... Michael. 2313 Report post Posted February 13, 2011 No point putting a 'pod' filter on unless your making a proper ducted cold air intake and using a decent filter element.
