IAL, what's that TLA mean?

Talks about stronger shift times....stronger shift times???

Only chip we can use is an ECU replacement, dinan, jim conforti, etc...

they don't replace the ECU.

All the EAT, JC etc chips do is replace the standard look-up table on an EPROM chip in the DME with a tweaked version.

there is a non-volatile chip with base settings - these are what the chip makers can alter (timing maps, fuel maps) - I think motronic can write to the volatile memory with closed loop lamba control on O2 sensor models.
